The Social Distancing Athlete Defined

The purpose of this site is, plain and simple: share knowledge about how still be an athlete during the COVID-19 pandemic and still keep yourself and others around you safe.

We plan to have sample workouts, Advice from coaches, Opinion pieces, and so on. All of this so you can quickly consume information by veteran endurance athletes. For us, this may be simple stuff. For those new to a sport or any sport, this may be all new. And everyone in between.

This blog will be entirely Guest Author driven. As such, their articles and opinion are theirs and theirs alone. Our volunteers will certainly screen them for anything we deem crazy, but hey, we are volunteers and you are an adult and can make your own decisions so don’t blame us. For the most part, our Guest Authors are experienced endurance athletes and have done plenty of stupid stuff in the past – don’t do that.

If you can’t be a good example, then you will just have to be a horrible warning.

If you wish to be a Guest Author, please submit your idea request in the comments below. We will email you for additional information if/when approved.

If approved we will need a title, your information (a little bio and what title you want used), your text, and any photos you might want to display. Please note since this is entirely a volunteer driven site, there could be a delay.
